The Invention of Hugo Cabret

The teen book group will be reading “The Invention of Hugo Cabret” for the month of March. Orphan, clock keeper, and thief, Hugo lives in the walls of a busy Paris train station where his survival depends on secrets and anonymity. But when his world suddenly interlocks-like the gears of the clocks he keeps-with an eccentric, bookish girl and a bitter old man who runs a toy booth in the train station, Hugo’s undercover life, and his most precious secret, are put in jeopardy. The book group will meet on March 20 at 1:30 pm. Light refreshments will be served.
